About the event
Join us on Sunday, November 20 from 1-3:30 PM at a secret location in Brooklyn for an afternoon of mushroom cultivation and preparation. Then we'll have a Q+A and an opportunity to buy refreshments such as coffee, teas, mocktails, and cafe-type food. ย The exact address will be revealed in the ticket confirmation email.
For the workshop, Ambra (@amagramfarmsnutrientco) will lead us through an introduction to mushroom cultivation. We will discuss the life cycle of a mushroom, mushrooms species (gourmet + medicinal), their food source and environment, and different methods of growing (Brf tek,monotub tek,bag tek). We will be using low tek sterile technique to make a grow bag kit for the class for you to take home and grow on your own.
A 2-3 week group follow-up call will be held to walk students through the growing process.
