Full Moon Womxn's Circle

Please join us for a Full Moon Womxn’s Circle, where we will commune, meditate, hold space, and release what no longer serves us. We will be joined by a special guest, Mycelium (Sound Healing Sundays), leading a sound bath meditation and voice activation exercise.

We’re gathering on Tuesday, March 7, from 7-10 pm to celebrate the Full Worm Moon (full moon in Virgo) at a secret location in Brooklyn. The exact address will be revealed in the ticket confirmation email. Please do not share it, and please arrive on time. Doors close at 7:30 PM.

The 2023 March full moon is called the worm moon because it’s the most common time in North America for the thawed Spring ground to allow earthworms to wriggle up to the surface. A little-known fact is that only southern states call it the worm moon because the ground in the north is still quite hard from the winter season. But considering our mild, balmy winter this year in New York, it’s probably safe to keep this name.

In Astrology, the March full moon occurs in the sign of Virgo, The Maiden. Virgo is a mutable sign, an Earth element, and lends to personality traits of being practical, sensible, and loyal. Virgos are also known for being perfectionists and can be meticulous and single-minded in their pursuit of improvement.

Moon Bathing ~ An activity we would like to offer is moon bathing, weather permitting. This consists of submerging a crystal or stone in a bowl of purified water and placing that bowl outside under the moonlight. We will have rooftop access for this event.
