About the event
The Psychedelic Sisterhood is proud to host Buki Fadipe for her introductory course of Psilocybin Journeys: A Decolonized Preparation Guide To Your First Intentional Sacred Mushroom Journey.
Join us on Sunday, February 26th, from 12:30 - 3:30 PM for an online workshop comprising nuanced mushroom healing education for novices and experienced journeyers. It will act as a foundation and detailed how-to guide for those experimenting on their own or considering investing in a psychedelic retreat or guided ceremonial work.
What makes this course different is that it's written using a decolonized lens, meaning it considers a broader spectrum of wisdom than the primarily Euro-centric models that are shaping mainstream education on psychedelics. It is inclusive, anti-colonial, anti-oppressive, and champions psychedelic healing from both a personal and collective standpoint.
*We’re offering a reduced ticket for our BIPOC. We are asking those that aren't BIPOC to please purchase full-price tickets. We operate on an honor system and want to ensure that everyone will have an opportunity to attend.
**Once you buy a ticket, the Zoom link will be sent to you via the confirmation email.
---------------
Buki says, “Science is finally catching up with what indigenous cultures of the global south have
known for centuries that the experience of taking sacred psilocybin mushrooms with
intention, the appropriate dosage, and setting can induce spiritual revelations,
mystical experiences and elevate psychological dis-ease.
We now know that these powerful & healing sacred fungi can be profound tools for
self-actualisation, for breaking unhealthy patterns of behaviour, rooting out many
ailments right at their source.
Whether you're seeking to expand your spiritual growth, excavate your ancestral gifts or
just to further your depth of exploration, intentional healing with sacred mushrooms
requires a commitment to your preparation process. This provides a means of harm
reduction, for understanding and maintaining reverence for the medicine, and for
building a safe container of care.
This expansive workshop by Buki Fadipe of @adventures.in.com will be a mix of
presentation, sharing, and written exercises. This 2 ½ workshop will
take you on a deep dive into the psycho-spiritual nature of cultivating healing and
the right relationship with psilocybin mushrooms.
This class will get you clear on where your responsibilities lay to ensure you are in the
driving seat and taking ownership of your healing and growth trajectory.
If you’ve been curious about how you can benefit from the wisdom and healing of
fungi medicine, this is a course for you."
