BIPOC Psychedelic Speed-Friending at PS2023

The Psychedelic Sisterhood and BIPOC Psychedelic are honored to be invited to bring an exciting and engaging social activity designed to foster open communication and connection within the BIPOC community. This event is sponsored by Psychedelic Science 2023 and will be held at the Community Stage.

Having a profound psychedelic experience may help us understand ourselves in new ways, show us how we fit into our world, or guide us onto a fresh life path. And being a social society, we may find ourselves rushing to tell someone we trust, hoping to be understood and accepted. Sometimes, those spoken experiences are greeted with open arms. And other times, that conversation encounters confusion or outright rejection (we've been there!), which may leave us with very little support.

That's why on Wednesday, June 21, from 5:15-6:15 pm, we're gathering at the Community Stage to take the guessing out of that equation and connect you with like-minded folks looking for friendships in psychedelic spaces. Click the event link below to RSVP and find our exact location!

This gathering is a BIPOC-centered event to serve the global majority communities. Our intention is to offer a safe space for connection and conversation within our mycelium network across the country and the world. BIPOC is an American acronym that stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. While the term is meant to be inclusive, we acknowledge it is imperfect and imprecise. We welcome all people within communities of color to this social event.

We're offering an additional Psychedelic Speed-Friending event on Thursday, June 22, at [Time], at [Location - Cafe]. This event is intended for everyone.
